Program Coordinator (Part-Time)

NetFreedom Pioneers is seeking a driven and organized individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. In this role, you will work on a portfolio of international technology programs to advance social change. Working closely with our global team, you will coordinate activities, manage project plans, and oversee project timelines to ensure the quality and timely delivery of our activities.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Oversee program/s daily operations, monitor implementation, and coordinate program activities, ensuring that programs achieve their stated objectives
  • Coordinate interactions/relationships between staff, clients, administrators and all other program stakeholders,
  • Supervise the work of contractors and external consultants for program/s, managing work assignments, workloads and work schedules
  • Keep programs on schedule, within stated budgets and functioning smoothly
  • Create program records and materials, including reports, presentations and proposals, and identifying and summarizing relevant data for reporting
  • Budget monitoring, including tracking billing, payments and other financial transactions
  • Maintain thorough program records and documentation
  • Suggest new ideas and solutions for the program/s, and assist in new program development

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Required

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in managing projects and stakeholders
    • Proven track record of teamwork at nonprofit organizations
    • Experience working in multicultural environments and teams, and strong cross-cultural communication skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple ongoing assignments
    • Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on deadline
    • Proficiency in  in Farsi and English 

     

    Nice to have

    • A fundraising and nonprofit industry background, preferably with an Internet Freedom or international development organization
    • Experience with social impact, technology, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation and/or knowledge management desired

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

Work may be performed in the office in person, or remotely by prior arrangement
