Overcoming barriers and reaching all corners of the world, NetFreedom Pioneers (NFP) uses its Toosheh Datacasting Technology to bring rich digital content directly to the user. Airing from existing satellite networks and accessed through inexpensive and off-the-shelf free-to-air (FTA) satellite receivers, individuals can download entire encoded libraries of media in a variety of formats free from natural or man-made obstacles.
The unprecedented access to information brought about by the internet has elevated the individual and provided billions with a better, more connected life. However, more are left on the other end of a growing divide, disconnected from all the internet has to offer as a result of poverty, remote geography, or censorship. NFP envisions our Toosheh Datacasting Technology as the bridge across this digital divide. How It Works
Like A Backpack On A TV Stream
Knapsack makes transferring non-video data over TV streams possible. Data is packaged, uploaded onto a server, and broadcasted via existing satellites. Then, the user records and decodes.
Format-Agnostic Content
Toosheh Datacasting Technology is able to transmit information in a variety of forms, not just video. Whether it’s PDF, JPEG, HTML, MP3, or another format, data is collected as users record the broadcast satellite channel. A simple USB drive connected to the satellite set-top box stores the information, allowing the user to later connect the drive to a smartphone or computer and view the content in its original form using NFP’s decoding and file viewer software.

Global Coverage
Using existing satellite networks, and with the flexibility to use local channels as well, NFP’s Toosheh Datacasting Technology allows for continental coverage. Even for those outside the reach of traditional information and communications infrastructure, this technology allows everyone, whether one user or an entire country, to gain access to information.
Simple to Deploy, Free to Use
For the user, no additional hardware is needed beyond a FTA satellite system. Toosheh is designed to be quick to set up and easy to use, and free of charge for the user. Since the data can be stored offline in USB drives, poor and remote communities are able to share content as a dish and a receiver is present.
No Footprint
NFP’s patented technology is secure and anonymous, using only one-way communication. The content you decide to view cannot be monitored, and your personal information is never gathered nor shared.
