As a Videographer for Toosheh Version 2.0, you will play a critical role in creating compelling visual content to showcase the platform’s features, demonstrate its capabilities, and document its impact on users worldwide. You will work closely with the marketing and development teams to produce engaging video materials that drive awareness, user acquisition, and fundraising efforts for Toosheh Version 2.0.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that effectively communicate Toosheh Version 2.0’s value proposition to various stakeholders, including donors, partners, and potential users.
  • Storytelling: Develop creative and captivating narratives to illustrate the impact of Toosheh Version 2.0 on individuals and communities facing internet restrictions and digital censorship.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with the overall promotional strategy, ensuring consistency with NFP’s branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Fieldwork: Conduct on-site video shoots in regions where Toosheh Version 2.0 is being implemented, capturing real-life user experiences and testimonials.
  • Post-production: Edit and finalize videos using professional software, incorporating animations, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance their visual appeal and storytelling.
  • Equipment and Technology: Manage and maintain video equipment and stay updated with the latest videography techniques and trends.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and copyright regulations while sourcing materials and content for video production.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

Required

  • Experience: Proven experience as a videographer or video producer, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects and video editing skills. Previous work in tech-related or nonprofit sectors is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using video equipment (cameras, audio devices, lighting, etc.) and editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Creativity: Ability to conceive innovative ideas for video storytelling and communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to travel to different locations, sometimes in challenging environments, to capture compelling footage and stories.
  • Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams, including marketing, development, and external partners.
  • Passion for Internet Freedom: A genuine interest in promoting open access to information, digital rights, and internet freedom worldwide.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality, error-free video content.
  • Portfolio: Applicants must provide a portfolio of their previous video work, demonstrating their abilities as a videographer and editor.
